Chickens are not allowed in Beaconsfield.

Prohibited. No clause explicitly names hens, but two bylaws confirm it structurally. The Animal Welfare By-law (BEAC-099) explicitly excludes "live fowl" from its definition of a pet. The zoning by-law (720) has no agricultural use category anywhere in the town (chapters 1 through 5 checked; the bylaw is 158 pages and was not read in full).
